Description

The CPU 1214C DC/DC/RLY offers a combination of low-voltage operation and relay-based output switching. Designed for automation systems that need flexible load control but with a 24 V DC power supply, this variant includes 14 digital inputs, 10 relay outputs, and 2 analog inputs (0–10 V DC). It shares the 100 KB program memory of other 1214C variants, enabling it to run well-structured programs for discrete and analog control applications. The relay outputs give users the ability to control a diverse range of devices—from DC-powered actuators to AC motors—using a single controller. Like other S7-1200 CPUs, it comes with a PROFINET port and supports modular expandability with signal and communication modules. It is especially suitable for plant floor systems with AC load requirements but a DC control circuit, making it versatile for machine builders and panel designers.
