Description

The EM AQ02 is a 2-channel analog output module designed for use with Siemens S7‑200 SMART PLC systems. Each channel can deliver either a 0–10 V DC voltage signal or a 4–20 mA current signal, which is configured via STEP 7 Micro/WIN SMART software. This module is ideal for interfacing with analog field devices such as variable speed drives, proportional valves, actuators, and analog panel meters. With 11-bit resolution, the AQ02 ensures high-precision analog control, making it suitable for applications requiring smooth, variable signal control rather than binary switching. Electrical isolation is provided between field and logic circuits to improve safety and system reliability. Additionally, the module supports diagnostics to monitor signal status, voltage levels, and wiring faults. Compact in size, the AQ02 mounts directly onto a DIN rail and connects easily through the system’s side bus.
