Delta AS228T A
The Delta AS228T‑A is a compact, modular mid‑range PLC in Delta’s AS200 series, engineered for high‑speed automation across electronics manufacturing, food packaging, labelling, and textile machinery applications. Powered by a 32‑bit SoC CPU, it achieves execution speeds of up to 40 k steps/ms with a basic LD instruction time of around 25 ns, and MOV operations in about 0.15 µs.
This performance supports program capacities of up to 64k steps and around 60k data registers, with expandable memory and logging through the Micro SD card slot.
The AS228T‑A comes with 16 digital inputs and 12 NPN transistor outputs, offering modular scalability to a total of 1,024 I/O points across up to 32 extension modules.
It supports 6 axes of high‑speed pulse output (200 kHz) and 4 high‑speed counter inputs—ideal for motion and positioning control—plus CANopen support for up to 8 axes of servo control via CANopen networking.
