Description

The EM DI08 module adds 8 digital input channels to a Siemens S7-200 SMART PLC. These channels are designed for 24 V DC signals and are optically isolated to ensure safe and interference-resistant operation. The module is DIN-rail mountable and easily connects to the main CPU via the expansion interface, supporting compact panel design. Each input can be wired in either sink or source configuration, offering flexibility across sensor types. This module is ideal for expanding input capacity in machine automation applications, such as capturing limit switch states, proximity sensor signals, or pushbutton operations. Inputs are addressable starting from the next available byte after the base module or previous extension.
